Qi Gong
Qi Gong means 'Qi work.' Just like acupuncture, herbs, and massage, Qi Gong is another modality of Chinese medicine designed to build, move, and balance Qi in the body. There are thousands of of Qi Gong forms that come out of China, and most medical practitioners have a practice that has been handed down through a lineage from many generations before. Qi Gong is like a moving meditation as it involves simple stretches and postures, combined with breath. Practicing Qi Gong over time has been shown to build strength, energy, mental acuity, and immunity. It is an enjoyable, gentle, and easy way for everyone to be involved with their own well being.
Sarah is certified to teach two different forms of Qi Gong, called Turtly Longevity Qigong and Jin Jing Gong Qigong. Classes are open to people of all ages and health conditions.
